Having reviewed many of the top resorts in Bali there is one outstanding resort which sets the standards for others to follow. The Maya Ubud is unique in so many ways it's not hard to see why its won almost every award in its category from Spa of the year award to the Trip Advisors Travellers Choice. However there is sometimes a gap between an award and the experience of staying there.

Please accept our personal thanks from myself, Sheryle and my children Sian, Alex, and Brad for the excellent holiday that we had during our recent visit to the Maya. As you know, this is our third trip and it was just superb.
It was particularly memorable given that so many of your staff have remained me of the Maya for many years and personally welcomed us back. Desi, Putu and Dian in particular, but many others assisted us as well.
We feel like the Maya Resort is "a home away from home" for the Moon family. It is certainly one of our favurite hotels in the world.
We look forward very much to seeing you again next year.

I am in my country town in Warrnambool which is the South West of Victoria, Australia after recently returning from a trip (my first) to Bali. During my time in Bali I had the great fortune to stay at your very beautiful resort with my friend Liz. We not only found the Maya Resort to be delight, from its Villa's to int restaurant and other beautiful facilities but we found each and everyone of your staff to be genuinely respectful, courteous, helpful and able to carry their work out with great dignity while making us feel that absolutely nothing was bother to them.
I have traveled to several Pacific Islands but I would have to say that our experience at your resort was truly memorable and I would be very happy to recommend your resort to others. I write to you for no other reason other than to ask you to pass on to your staff my appreciation for the excellent care they provide for us while we were at your resort. In fact it makes us feel quite humble to know that your staff worked so respectfully to make our stay so special.
