COVID-19 Update: March 18, 2020
The safety and wellbeing of our guests is a top priority for Maya Resorts.
We understand that you may be experiencing stress given the rapidly changing information on travel restrictions and cancelled or postponed public events. We want you to know that we are monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation closely, keeping those who are affected in our hearts, and are listening carefully to the questions and concerns we receive from guests such as yourself.
Following the new announcement that the Indonesian Government has put in place, as of the 20th of March until the 20th of April, all visa exemptions for visa on arrival and visa for short period have been suspended. Therefore, our policies have been reviewed accordingly:
Waiving Change and Cancellation Fees
Guided by our purpose of care, we are temporarily adjusting our policies to allow for maximum flexibility to help you make the right decisions regarding travel at this time:
Existing reservations for upcoming travel between March 20th and April 20th, 2020 (own web site, travel agents and third parties):
All existing reservations made before March 13, 2020 that are for arrivals between March 20th and April 20th 2020 can be changed or cancelled at no charge up to 24 hours before your scheduled arrival. This includes Advance Purchase Rate reservations.
Existing Advance Purchase Rate non-refundable reservations for travel from April 20th, 2020 until May 31st 2020 (own website, travel agents and third parties):
As announced earlier, special exceptions are in place for all Advance Purchase Rate non-refundable reservations made with Maya Resorts for arrivals after April 21st 2020 until May 31st 2020. Guests holding these fully prepaid reservations who have decided not to travel may still opt to modify their booking. Please note that if a new rate applies for the selected period, the difference will be added to the modified reservation.
Existing Advance Purchase Rate non-refundable reservations for travel after June 1st, 2020 onwards (own website, travel agents and third parties):
The booking conditions may apply under no exceptions.

The below precautionary and response measures are helping us continue to provide a safe and clean environment:
Comprehensive COVID-19 guidance is in place at Maya Resorts, detailing how to protect against transmission of the virus (including implementing hand sanitizer stations and frequent cleaning of high-touch areas), and procedures in case there is a suspected or confirmed case among our guests or colleagues.
